We received a respectable number of over 700 abstract submissions. Many thanks to all the submitters!! The reviewing process has already started, we wish all authors good luck and explicitly thank the more than 200 reviewers for their necessary and helpful support.
For last minute abstracts, the abstract submission has been reopened today. This call for last-minute abstracts is for poster presentations only.
Deadline for these late poster abstracts (poster presentation only) is May 16, 2021, 23:59:00 CET. Therefore, please upload your late poster abstracts before that, using the online submission system available at http://www.esb2021.org. On the conference website you can always find updated information on all related topics, such as main conference topics, plenary and keynote speakers, venue and exhibition.

Pulido Valente Ciência 2018 prize awarded to researcher from the Biofabrication Group at i3S
Pulido Valente Ciência 2018 prize was awarded to Rúben Pereira, for his work in the area of skin 3D printing published in 2018 in Materials Horizons. This year was dedicated to biomedical sciences and this work was considered one of the best articles by young Portuguese researchers. The other awardee was Joana Sacramento, from Univ. Nova in Lisbon. Further details are provided in newspaper Público (only in Portuguese).
