Programme
Multidisciplinary institutions, gathering researchers from several fields, often find major obstacles in defining indicators to measure research performance, and especially when comparison with monodisciplinar institutions is required.
With the increasing relevance of bibliometric analyses in the assessment of researchers and institutional performances, we strongly feel the need to discuss and establish better criteria to perform cross-disciplinary evaluations, a problem which affects many research fields. For that purpose, we gathered international experts in the filed in order to provide a wide discussion on this topic, thus helping to define better criteria to perform such evaluations.
This event is designed to be an informal half-day workshop, for the local and national scientific communities, in which discussions will be strongly stimulated.
