On behalf of all Biomat.net’s team, it is my honor and great pleasure to announce that a totally remodeled Biomaterials Network is now available online!

This major improvement of the site was only possible due to the efforts and involvement of our Editors, Web and Art Designers, and members of our renewed Editorial Board. In particular, I would like to acknowledge the competence and dedication of José Paulo Pereira, Sónia Sousa, Augusto Lima and Sandra Teixeira.

The site was revamped not only in terms graphics but new functionalities and major changes were implemented in order to provide better services to everyone interested in biomaterials and Tissue Engineering. Biomat.net facilities now include blogging capabilities allowing you to comment the news, as well as a discussion Forum and Glossary of terms. Our Scientific Advisory Board was also expanded to assure the maintenance of a high scientific standard in this increasingly complex resource.
